Moiko’s production chain is open and transparent

This week is the #FashionRevolutionWeek! 🌍💚 People from all over the world are asking the brands #WhoMadeMyClothes and in what conditions. Moiko’s production chain is open and transparent, which is why we want to tell you more about our manufacturers.

The reflective patterns on Moiko’s mittens are printed in Lauttasaari, Helsinki. All products are manufactured with reliable partners in Europe, mainly in Finland (80%) and Estonia. Moiko’s mittens are knitted by Agtuvi in Tampere, behind the @kivat_official children’s clothing brand and their sister company Kinhan in Lohja. The relationship between us and Agtuvi is more than a buy-sell relationship, it includes weekly contacts and tutoring. Agtuvi is led by sibling trio Janne, Krista and Katri. We have also done some collaboration with Nevertex in Ostrobothnia. Other important partners are Ally in Türi, Estonia, a 30 people small sewing company in a quiet rural village. In Estonia, we have also other contacts from Tallinn to Tartu. When Moiko started ten years ago, Finnish sewing production was not really available. Fortunately, it has now slightly changed. However, we have good relations with our own partners and we want to keep on cooperating with them.
